This standard applies to a two-component high-build epoxy coating suitable for application over epoxy or inorganic zinc-rich primer to provide exterior and interior protection to steel and other surfaces, except wood, under conditions of marine atmosphere or severe industrial environments.
This coating is intended for interior and exterior use and primarily for the protection of steel surfaces but may also be used to protect suitably treated galvanized steel, suitably treated aluminum, masonry and concrete surfaces.
The testing and evaluation of a product against this stanadard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
